• Monday–Wednesday | 3:30 PM – 7:30 PM
• Sunday | 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
   

Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Cook to support meal preparation in a busy Poughkeepsie location. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen and wants a consistent part-time schedule with potential for long-term employment.
This role will help cover staffing needs while team members are out, with the possibility of becoming a permanent position.

Cook Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and guidelines
• Follow proper food safety, sanitation, and handling procedures
• Assist with kitchen organization, cleaning, and food prep
• Ensure timely meal service and maintain quality standards
• Work collaboratively with team members to keep operations running smoothly
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment

Qualifications & Skills:

• Previous experience in cooking, food preparation, or a kitchen environment preferred
• Ability to follow recipes, portioning, and food safety guidelines accurately
• Strong time management and ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work scheduled evening and weekend shifts
• Positive attitude with strong communication and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of food safety practices; certification is a plus
• Ability to accommodate basic dietary needs or special meal preparation is beneficial
• Willingness to learn and take direction in a team-oriented kitchen environment
