A growing organization is seeking a Financial Reporting Manager for a temporary opportunity. This role will oversee the timely and accurate preparation of consolidated financial statements and lead the financial reporting process across multiple entities. The position partners closely with internal accounting teams and international counterparts to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and to deliver high-quality financial insights to leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead preparation of consolidated financial statements and supporting schedules in accordance with U.S. GAAP
  • Manage multi-entity financial reporting, including intercompany eliminations and reconciliations
  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cycles to ensure accuracy and timeliness
  • Prepare internal reporting packages for executive leadership and key stakeholders
  • Review consolidation workpapers, including equity roll-forwards and intercompany balances
  • Oversee foreign currency translation and related reporting requirements
  • Partner with domestic and international accounting teams to ensure consistency in reporting
  • Research and document technical accounting matters and new standards
  • Support external reporting requirements, including audit and tax deliverables
  • Mentor and oversee accounting staff, providing guidance and training
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency and scalability
  • Assist with system implementations, upgrades, and enhancements
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and special projects as needed

Qualifications:

  • CPA required
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 8+ years of progressive accounting/financial reporting experience, including public accounting or audit exposure
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial consolidations (multi-entity and multi-currency)
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
  • Experience in professional services or similar environments is a plus
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics) preferred
