Forklift Operator Material Handler

The Forklift Operator Material Handler works within a large warehouse team in Waukesha, WI, primarily handling heavy, bulky metal items. This role involves operating various forklifts, including counterbalance forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks, to efficiently manage material movement while maintaining high safety standards. The position is first shift, from 8am to 4:30pm, with overtime available, and offers $17 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Operate counterbalance forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks safely and efficiently
• Handle and transport heavy bulky metal items within the warehouse
• Load and unload materials accurately for shipping and receiving
• Pick and prepare orders in a timely manner
• Maintain organized and clean warehouse environment
• Collaborate effectively within a large team of 15+ members

Required Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in material handling and forklift operation
• Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and procedures
• Ability to handle physically demanding tasks with stamina
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Demonstrated teamwork and communication skills
