Job Overview

We are looking for an ambitious and coachable Customer Sales Representative to join our industry leading team. This position is ideal for candidates who want to master professional sales through a world-class, structured training program. You will spend your initial weeks learning our products, customer management software, and proven sales frameworks. Once on the floor, you will apply this training to handle client inquiries, close sales, and meet revenue targets. Continuous learning is a core part of this role, with ongoing coaching provided to help you advance your career.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Generate and qualify leads through various channels like cold calling, email marketing, client referrals, and inbound digital inquiries. 
  • Conduct product presentations and live demonstrations tailored to the customer’s explicit pain points and business goals.  
  • Address customer inquiries regarding pricing, product specifications, billing, policies, and item availability.  
  • Negotiate contracts and terms effectively to close sales while maintaining target profit margins for the company.  
  • Manage customer accounts by processing client orders, managing returns, and accurately recording data within CRM systems like Salesforce. 
  • Provide after-sales support to build long-term relationships, secure client loyalty, and generate repeat business or referrals.  
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as marketing and operations to share customer feedback and optimize the sales process.  
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and quotas established on a weekly, monthly, or quarterly basis.  

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Communication skills: Ability to articulate complex ideas clearly, write professional emails, and pick up on verbal cues during sales pitches.
  • Active listening: Focusing entirely on what customers say to understand their true needs rather than just pushing a quick sell.
  • Negotiation & persuasion: Confidently presenting tailored offers and navigating objections to reach mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Problem-solving: Investigating client complaints, troubleshooting issues quickly, and offering practical solutions.
  • Time management: Staying highly organized to balance administrative paperwork, CRM updates, and active outbound calling schedules.
  • Resilience & adaptability: Remaining positive and professional in the face of customer rejection or changing daily targets.
  • Technical proficiency: Comfort using modern office software, remote phone systems, and database management tools.  

Typical Job Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent is standard; an Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business is a plus.
  • Experience: Prior experience in retail sales, call centers, hospitality, or general customer support is preferred but often not required due to extensive on-the-job training programs.
