Schedule
Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Must be available for rotating on-call and snow removal as needed

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Facilities Maintenance Technician to support building systems and general property maintenance in Staatsburg, NY. This role is responsible for ensuring facility operations run smoothly through preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work across multiple trades.
This is a hands-on opportunity for someone with strong maintenance experience looking for a temp-to-perm role with long-term potential.

Facilities Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair issues related to plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and general building systems
• Respond quickly to maintenance requests and facility issues
• Identify and address safety hazards and ensure compliance with maintenance standards
• Maintain proper functionality of building systems and equipment
• Complete assigned tasks efficiently and maintain detailed work records
• Support seasonal tasks including snow removal and on-call maintenance coverage
• Ensure a clean, safe, and well-maintained facility environment

Qualifications & Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Valid driver’s license required
• Hands-on experience with multiple trades (plumbing, heating/cooling, electrical, carpentry, general repairs)
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple maintenance tasks
• Must have own set of basic tools
• Reliable, safety-focused, and detail-oriented

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift, carry, and move materials as needed
• Comfortable performing physical work throughout the day
• Ability to respond to varied maintenance conditions, including indoor and outdoor work
