Job Title: Construction Administrative Assistant / Project Coordinator
Location: Plano, TX (In-Office)
Salary: $40,000 – $45,000
Company Overview
We are a growing, family-owned commercial construction company specializing in modular construction for government, military, and mission-critical projects, including data centers. With a rapidly expanding inventory and national project portfolio, we are seeking a highly organized individual to support both administrative operations and project coordination.
Position Summary
This is a hybrid role combining administrative support and project coordination responsibilities, with a clear opportunity to grow into a more project-focused position over time. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and interested in developing a career in construction project management or operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide general administrative support, including data entry, document management, and office coordination
- Assist with project coordination tasks supporting active construction projects
- Track and manage modular unit inventory (100+ units and growing), including serial numbers, storage locations, maintenance status, and delivery schedules
- Coordinate logistics for transportation, storage, and delivery of modular units
- Support fleet and equipment logistics, ensuring proper tracking and utilization
- Assist with documentation and compliance related to government contracts and projects
- Maintain organized records and ensure accuracy across systems and reports
- Communicate with internal teams, vendors, and project stakeholders as needed
Qualifications
- Prior administrative or coordinator experience is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Comfortable with data entry and tracking systems
- Interest in construction, logistics, or project management
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience with government contracts or construction environments is a plus, but not required
