Job Description
Corporate Recruiters, Inc. is conducting a search for an experienced Human Resources Manager on behalf of a national manufacturing company with operations in Cass City, Michigan.
This is an excellent opportunity for an accomplished HR professional to join a growing organization and serve as a strategic partner to leadership while overseeing all aspects of human resources operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide leadership and oversight of HR operations across multiple manufacturing locations.
• Manage all HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, training and development, compensation administration, payroll coordination, and compliance.
• Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and programs that support organizational goals.
• Advise management on employment practices, workplace policies, and regulatory compliance.
• Drive employee engagement, communication, performance management, and retention initiatives.
• Support workplace health and safety programs and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
• Manage workers’ compensation, unemployment claims, and employee relations matters.
• Partner with leadership on workforce planning, organizational development, succession planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain the highest standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and consistency in all HR practices and processes.
• Perform additional duties as needed to support business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive Human Resources experience in a management role.
- Manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and regulatory compliance.
- Proven experience managing employee relations, recruiting, performance management, and workforce development initiatives.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to influence, coach, and collaborate effectively with employees and leadership at all levels.
