About this job
Job Description
About the Role
Professional Services Construction Inc. is hiring a Bilingual Field HR Coordinator to support our growing field operations across Southern California. This is a hands-on, on-the-go position based primarily in Orange County, with regular travel to active jobsites in Los Angeles and Ventura Counties. You will be the connection point between the office and the field — managing time tracking, running hiring applications onsite, and serving as a friendly, bilingual face for our crews and clients.
If you enjoy moving between jobsites, working with people, and keeping things organized in a fast-paced construction environment, we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Do
• Monitor the clock-in app: Review daily punches in ExakTime (or similar), follow up on missed or incorrect entries, and make sure field hours are accurate and ready for payroll.
• Administer hiring applications: Meet candidates at jobsites or the office to walk them through applications, collect required documents, verify ID, and coordinate onboarding paperwork.
• Work in the field: Travel from jobsite to jobsite to check in with crews, support foremen, and resolve issues in person.
• Customer service: Communicate professionally with crews, candidates, vendors, and clients. Translate between English and Spanish as needed.
• Data & reporting: Maintain rosters, trackers, and schedules in Smartsheet and Excel. Produce clean, accurate documents in Word.
• Field support: Assist superintendents and PMs with day-to-day administrative tasks, document handoffs, and crew coordination.
Required Qualifications
• Fully bilingual in English and Spanish (speaking, reading, and writing).
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and willingness to drive daily across Orange County, with occasional days in Los Angeles or Ventura County.
• Proficient with Smartsheet, ExakTime (or comparable clock-in / time-tracking app), Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic construction knowledge — familiarity with jobsite terminology, trades, and standard field practices.
• Comfortable working outdoors at active construction sites (PPE provided).
• Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
Preferred / Plus
• Prior construction industry experience (field admin, HR, project coordination, or trades).
• Experience administering I-9, W-4, and new-hire onboarding paperwork.
• Familiarity with California labor requirements.
• Experience supporting field crews directly.
Work Schedule & Location
This role is field-based, not desk-based. You will report to active jobsites and travel between them throughout the day. Most work will be in Orange County, but you must be available to work in Los Angeles or Ventura County when projects require it. Standard schedule aligns with construction field hours; occasional early starts may apply.
Compensation & Benefits
• Competitive hourly or salaried pay, based on experience.
• Mileage reimbursement or company vehicle/allowance for field travel.
• Standard company holidays.
• Health benefits available per company plan.
• Opportunity to grow with an established Southern California contractor.
