Auto Mechanic / Service Technician

The Auto Mechanic / Service Technician will diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of vehicles including passenger cars, light trucks, and heavy duty trucks. Working either independently or as part of a service team, this role requires collaboration with the parts department to ensure efficient and accurate service delivery. The technician is responsible for thorough vehicle inspections, performing warranty work, and maintaining high safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical vehicle issues
• Perform repairs and routine maintenance on vehicles
• Replace faulty parts efficiently and accurately
• Conduct comprehensive safety inspections
• Handle warranty work in compliance with manufacturer guidelines
• Collaborate with parts department to source necessary components
• Work independently as a solo technician or as part of a service team

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Automotive Technical schooling or Experience
• Knowledge of engine repair, brake systems, and electrical systems
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools
• Strong customer service skills
• Effective time management and problem-solving abilities
• Attention to detail in all repair and maintenance tasks
