Construction Coordinator

This opportunity is supporting large-scale telecom network construction and deployment initiatives focused on fiber, HFC, and coax infrastructure projects. The Construction Coordinator will play a critical role in managing construction workflows, tracking milestones, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring administrative quality control throughout the full project lifecycle.
This is a highly collaborative, hybrid role ideal for someone with strong telecom construction coordination experience and a deep understanding of plant design, routing, systems, hardware, and deployment processes. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, proactive, and capable of identifying creative solutions that improve deployment efficiency and project execution.
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience supporting telecom construction projects involving fiber, HFC, and coax networks
- Knowledge of plant design and layout, routing, systems, and hardware
- Experience reviewing designs, drawings, construction plans, purchase orders, and invoices
- Experience managing project workflows and lifecycle milestones
- Strong understanding of telecom construction processes and quality control procedures
- Experience using JT/Polaris or similar project tracking systems
- Ability to coordinate across multiple internal teams and stakeholders
- Strong administrative, organizational, and reporting skills
- Experience with material management, funding requests, and reconciliation
- Ability to analyze reports and identify workflow or quality issues
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Desired Skills & Experience
- Experience supporting a large MSO telecom construction environment
- Experience working with permit coordinators, specialists, and field QC teams
- Knowledge of telecom construction SLAs and milestone tracking processes
- Experience supporting finance reconciliation and project estimating activities
What You Will Be Doing
Daily Responsibilities
- Create jobs within tracker and manage construction job workflows
- Issue jobs to design teams and track projects through the full lifecycle
- Update and manage project milestones while ensuring SLA compliance
- Handle lifecycle exceptions and reconcile completed jobs
- Serve as a point of contact for cross-functional teams including BOC, CPM, FPM, and sales
- Generate reporting and provide project updates to leadership teams
- Create and approve funding requests and purchase orders
- Manage material tracking, reconciliation, and contract research
- Support project estimating and financial tracking activities
- Review designs, drawings, plans, invoices, and project documentation
- Manage administrative quality control workflows and reporting analysis
- Validate completion of field quality control activities
- Coordinate with permit coordinators and specialists to ensure milestone completion
- Follow administrative QC checklists including materials, invoices, pictures, and footage validation
- Verify permit closures and final invoice milestones
- Ensure all project milestones are properly updated and documented
- Close out completed jobs and maintain accurate records
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and more efficient deployments
