Maintenance Technician Apartments

Premier Staffing Unlimited is seeking an experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician for a property in Macon, GA. We are looking for someone dependable, hands-on, and experienced in apartment turns, painting, and general maintenance repairs.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently while helping maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming living environment for residents.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Complete apartment turns between residents
• Perform extensive interior and exterior painting and touch-up work
• Prepare walls including patching, sanding, and minor drywall repairs
• Complete minor HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting
• Perform general maintenance and repair work including:
• • Basic plumbing repairs
  • Minor electrical repairs
  • Door, lock, and window repairs
  • Fixture replacement
  • General carpentry tasks
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and supplies
• Assist with grounds and curb appeal as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous apartment maintenance experience preferred
• Strong painting experience required
• Working knowledge of minor HVAC systems and maintenance
• Experience with basic plumbing, electrical, and general repairs
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in indoor/outdoor environments
• Valid driver's license preferred
• Strong attention to detail and reliability

Schedule:

• Primarily day shift hours (schedule to be discussed)
