Job Description
Higher Taste is a local, family-owned food manufacturer based in Cornelius, Oregon. For over 39 years, we’ve been creating delicious food for customers throughout the Pacific Northwest and beyond. We’re looking for an organized, positive, and dependable Multi-Role Staff Member to help our office run smoothly and support our growing team.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety in their day, works well independently, and likes being part of a hardworking, team-oriented company. The ideal candidate is friendly, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing multiple responsibilities while helping create an efficient and supportive office environment.
As our Multi-Role Staff Member, you’ll help coordinate daily office operations, support staff, oversee administrative systems, and assist with HR and compliance tasks. We’re looking for someone who can step in where needed, communicate well with both customers and employees, and help our office stay organized and productive.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Help manage daily office operations and administrative procedures
Maintain organized filing systems, paperwork, and office records
Support office staff by assigning and monitoring administrative tasks
Help develop and improve office procedures and systems
HR; Oversee employee onboarding, HR paperwork, payroll support, and recordkeeping
Help oversee OSHA and audit-related paperwork and compliance
Make sure insurance Workers Comp, Health, Liability are up to date annually. Make sure customers get COI’s in a timely manner
Manage customer and vendor communications and relationships
Create and update customer databases and records
Support sales staff with invoicing and customer service tasks
Prepare presentations and documents using Microsoft Office and PowerPoint
Fill in and assist with office duties when team members are absent
Help maintain a positive and productive office environment
Regular Schedule is:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday,Thursday 7:00 am- 2:00 pm
Fridays 7:00-Noon or until the work is completed
In the beginning, training requires some earlier shifts starting at 6:00 AM. Workdays may extend until daily tasks are completed.
Required Qualifications-Great Attitude!
2+ years in office management, office assistant, or administrative experience.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Google Sheets, QuickBooks, data entry, and ERP systems
Knowledge of HR practices and office administration
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to multitask and work independently
Highly Preferred Qualifications
Bi-lingual Spanish Speaking
Strong customer communication skills
Experience implementing new software systems
Friendly positive outlook and team orientated attitude.
