Parts & Inventory Coordinator

Location Decatur, TX | Onsite

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE

• $19–$20 per hour

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

• W2

• Start date: TBD


ROLE IMPACT:

The Parts & Inventory Coordinator ensures accurate tracking, availability, and organization of parts supporting industrial diesel engines and related equipment. Success in this role means maintaining clean inventory records, supporting technicians and customers with timely parts identification, and keeping purchasing and receiving processes running efficiently.

• Enter and maintain parts, inventory, and purchasing data in company systems with high accuracy

• Process purchase orders, receiving records, and inventory transactions

• Research and identify engine and equipment parts using manufacturer catalogs and technical documentation

• Assist customers and service technicians with parts requests and availability inquiries

• Maintain accurate inventory records and support cycle counts

• Organize inventory, ensure proper labeling, and maintain orderly storage areas

• Collaborate with purchasing, service, and sales teams to ensure smooth operations

• Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail

• Proficiency with computers, spreadsheets, and business software

• Ability to learn parts catalogs, part numbers, and inventory management systems


Equipment & Work Environment

• Industrial diesel engine and equipment parts inventory

• Manufacturer catalogs and parts documentation systems

• Computer-based inventory and purchasing software

• Warehouse and parts storage areas


Preferred Skills

• Experience in parts, inventory control, warehouse operations, automotive, diesel, or industrial equipment environments

• Strong organizational skills in fast-paced industrial settings

• Customer service experience supporting internal or external clients
