About the Position

We are seeking an energetic, dependable, and patient-focused Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our busy medical practice. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, providing excellent patient care, and supporting providers and staff to ensure efficient clinic operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Patient Care

  • Room patients and prepare them for provider visits.
  • Obtain and document vital signs, height, weight, and patient history.
  • Assist providers during examinations and procedures as needed.
  • Ensure patient comfort and address basic patient needs.
  • Prepare exam rooms with necessary supplies and equipment.

Clinical Support

  • Assist with specimen collection and basic clinical tasks within scope of practice.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
  • Communicate patient concerns and needs to providers and nursing staff.

Room and Clinic Maintenance

  • Clean and prepare exam rooms between patients.
  • Ensure efficient room turnover to maintain patient flow.
  • Stock exam rooms and clinical areas with necessary supplies.
  • Monitor inventory levels and notify management of supply needs (laundry and instrument sterilization).
  • Follow infection control and safety protocols at all times.

Team Support

  • Collaborate with providers, nurses, reception staff, and management.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training, and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Current CNA certification in the State of Montana.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification preferred.
  • Previous clinic or healthcare experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of EMR systems preferred.
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and professionalism.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to assist patients with mobility as needed.
  • Frequent use of computers and medical equipment.
