  • Administer medications under supervision following proper protocols and aseptic techniques
  • Maintain infection control standards by practicing proper hand hygiene, using PPE, and adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy
  • Document patient information accurately within Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems such as Cerner or eClinicalWorks

Skills

  • Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support procedures
  • Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like Epic or Cerner for efficient documentation and patient record management
  • Experience in acute care settings such as ICU or Level I Trauma Centers; familiarity with infectious disease protocols is highly valued
  • Strong caregiving skills demonstrated through previous roles in geriatrics, pediatrics, home & community care or post-acute environments
  • Excellent communication skills for working effectively with patients of all ages—including children—and collaborating with healthcare teams
