Maintenance Mechanic

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Machine Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing facility. Duties

• Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on manufacturing equipment using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools.
• Maintain and calibrate machinery utilizing precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing devices.
• Conduct preventive maintenance tasks on hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems to ensure continuous operation.
• Utilize Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to diagnose issues and implement control system repairs or adjustments.
• Operate industrial equipment including scissor lifts, forklifts, and other field service tools safely to access hard-to-reach machinery or perform maintenance tasks.
• Document all maintenance activities accurately in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking and compliance purposes.
• Collaborate with production teams to coordinate maintenance schedules with manufacturing workflows, minimizing disruptions.
• Follow safety protocols related to high voltage systems, low voltage electrical work, HVAC/R systems, welding (including welding), and other industrial maintenance procedures.

Requirements

• Proven experience working in an industrial mechanic or manufacturing facility environment with a strong understanding of mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of electrical systems including high voltage and low voltage troubleshooting; experience as an industrial electrician is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with schematics, technical drawings, and control diagrams for effective diagnostics and repairs.
• Hands-on experience with hydraulics, pumps, valves, welding techniques, and precision measuring instruments such as ammeters and ohmmeters.
• Ability to operate field service equipment like scissor lifts safely; certification preferred.
• Strong analysis skills for diagnosing complex machinery issues quickly and accurately.
• Excellent customer service mindset when interacting with internal teams or external vendors during maintenance activities.
• Relevant certifications or military experience related to industrial maintenance or electrical work are advantageous.
