The Returns Clerk plays a critical role in managing the return process for furniture products, ensuring items are inspected, documented, and reintegrated into inventory efficiently. This position involves collaboration with multiple departments to maintain accurate stock levels and assist with reporting tasks, using tools such as Excel or spreadsheets to manage data effectively.

 

Responsibilities

  • Process an average of under 10 return transactions daily with accuracy
  • Manage returned furniture inventory and prepare items for restocking or disposal
  • Perform quality inspections to assess condition of returned products
  • Maintain detailed documentation and records of all returns
  • Enter data accurately into Excel or spreadsheet software
  • Replenish stock based on return inspections and company protocols
  • Generate and submit reports related to returns and inventory status
  • Collaborate regularly with other departments to coordinate return processing and inventory updates

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with inventory management
  • Basic computer skills, especially using Excel or spreadsheets
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good customer service skills
  • Proficient data entry abilities
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks
