Zepf Center has been serving the Lucas County community for over 50 years. We are the leading provider of behavioral health and substance use disorder services in Northwest Ohio. Services include adult and child psychiatric, substance abuse, case management, residential, Crisis Care, and therapy programs, as well as career development and wellness services. Zepf Center also offers primary care medical services to our patients to contribute to their continuum of care. Zepf Center is a trauma-informed agency and environment for both patients and staff.
The purpose of this position is to work in coordination with the Project Director to oversee outcomes management of the Fatherhood Connection Project. This position will assist in the planning, implementation, evaluation, and daily operation of the program. The role will facilitate Fatherhood groups and complete major functions including program outcomes tracking, supporting client services, providing staff training, building community partnerships, and marketing outreach activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Program Management
- Assist in implementing programmatic activities for the Fatherhood Connection Project, ensuring alignment with the organization’s administrative philosophy, mission, and vision.
- Provide guidance to staff in delivering supportive services in accordance with Zepf’s policies and procedures.
- Provide input on achieving program outcomes across various goal areas. Work with the Data Manager to present outcomes to the team and strategize service adjustments to achieve goals.
- Develop, monitor, and evaluate departmental goals and objectives to ensure program effectiveness. Monitor utilization and recommend strategies to optimize service delivery.
- Ensure utilization aligns with available resources and budgets. Recommend adjustments and communicate with referral sources as needed.
- Participate in meetings with the Federal Project Officer to review program outcomes and service models.
- Ensure compliance with agency and federal regulations, including CARF; develop procedures as necessary to meet requirements
- Support staff development by providing training in program operations, including documentation, database entry, needs assessment, treatment/action planning, group facilitation, individual intervention, and integrated team collaboration.
Data Management Review
- Utilize data to monitor program performance, identify trends, and guide service adjustments.
- Incorporate data review into coaching and team meetings to track progress toward goals and discuss performance expectations.
- Develop expertise in the Federal nFORM data system to monitor accuracy of inputs and generate reports to support program management.
Community Partnership
- Promote and maintain positive relationships with referral and social service agencies.
- Advocate for client recovery needs and services within the community.
- Serve as a liaison to training providers and community agencies on FORGE Project services.
- Organize and facilitate partner Alumni Meetings to guide implementation of recommended service enhancements.
- Participate in community activities and meetings that support responsible parenting and workforce development.
Marketing and Outreach
- Coordinate with the Zepf Marketing team to support marketing strategies that align with agency policies and promote program participation.
- Ensure all marketing materials receive Federal Project Officer approval.
- Work with management staff to integrate vocational services into client care coordination when appropriate, including team meetings, staff outreach training, and implementation of documentation protocols.
- Represent the program at community outreach events to promote services and support service coordination.
Assessment & Case Management
- Conduct comprehensive barrier assessments for each participant at enrollment.
- Develop, monitor, and update Individual Service Strategies (ISS) and Career Plans with each participant.
- Provide intensive case management, vocational guidance, job coaching, and service coordination.
- Advocate on behalf of fathers to navigate employment, legal, and family-related systems, including child support and custody.
Facilitation & Skill Building
- Facilitate Nurturing Fathers Curriculum groups and one-on-one sessions, maintaining fidelity to the evidence-based model.
- Facilitate Fatherhood 101 seminars and workshops focused on employment readiness, parenting skills, and life management.
Other Duties
- Participate in assigned agency committee meetings.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support departmental and organizational success.

Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Service, Healthcare, Education and/or related degree;
- May consider individuals with High School Graduate with a combination of some college course work and two years of Social Service and Behavioral Health experience
- Two years minimum related experience in one of the following occupational areas: social service, behavioral health, workforce development and /or related experience
- One year of supervisory experience with progressive increase in duties
- Experience working with budgets and personnel management
- Excellent computer skills
- This position will not provide direct supervsion
