Schedule: 40 Hours per Week (Rotating Schedule)
- Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Saturday: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Sunday: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Monday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent MRI Technologist experience
- ARRT (MRI) Certification required
- Current AHA BLS Certification required
- No local candidates within 50 miles of the facility
Job Summary
The MRI Technologist performs high-quality magnetic resonance imaging procedures in an outpatient imaging setting. The technologist is responsible for ensuring patient safety, producing diagnostic-quality images, and providing exceptional patient care while adhering to departmental protocols and MRI safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MRI examinations according to physician orders and established imaging protocols
- Operate MRI equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
- Screen patients for MRI safety and contraindications prior to imaging
- Monitor and support patients throughout imaging procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records and procedure documentation
- Ensure compliance with MRI safety regulations, infection control standards, and departmental policies
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to support quality patient care
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent MRI Technologist experience
- ARRT (MRI) certification required
- Current AHA BLS certification required
- Strong knowledge of MRI procedures, patient care, and safety practices
- Experience in an outpatient imaging environment preferred
Additional Information
- 13-week travel assignment
- Outpatient imaging setting
- Rotating schedule with weekend coverage
- 40 hours per week
- Local candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this assignment.
