Job Summary:
A Physical Therapist Outpatient (PT OP) is needed in an acute care hospital located in Santa Rosa, California. This role involves providing outpatient physical therapy services to adult and geriatric patients, including those with neurological, orthopedic, and other complex conditions. Candidates are required to bring their valid California license on the first day. The position requires a minimum of 3 years of experience, including experience with outpatient therapy and charting in Epic.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days, 8-hour shifts, minimum 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid California license in hand; BLS certification; 3 years of experience, including outpatient therapy; Epic charting experience; experience with acute rehab or willingness to float with proper orientation
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with neurological, orthopedic, or complex patient populations; trauma level II experience; trauma center experience
- Float: Travelers may be expected to float between hospital units or to nearby sister facilities; refusal to float may result in termination of assignment or forfeiture of guaranteed hours
- Additional Information: Candidate must be willing to work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year). No specific start date was provided; the anticipated start date is ASAP. The shift hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
