**Join Our Team as an X-Ray Tech - Weekend Nights!** **Job Description:** - Are you passionate about patient care and eager to make a difference? - Join us as an X-Ray Tech and help conduct radiologic examinations for adults, pediatrics, and neonates in a dynamic environment. **Your Role:** - Conduct and assist in the performance of radiologic examinations. - Prepare and position patients for exams, providing thorough explanations to alleviate any concerns. - Utilize Radiology Information Systems effectively to ensure accurate patient data management. - Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to determine appropriate care and imaging techniques. - Monitor patients' conditions throughout the procedures and respond to any changes. - Ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times. **What You’ll Need:** - A graduate of an AMA accredited Radiologic Technology program or enrolled in your second year of an accredited program. - A minimum of 2 years of experience in a radiology department is preferred. - Current certifications: BLS/BCLS and ARRT(R). **Key Responsibilities:** - Set up and prepare equipment and rooms for various examinations. - Operate radiologic equipment while adhering to safety protocols. - Engage with patients and families, providing them with necessary information pre and post-procedure. - Maintain proper patient identification protocols and ensure accurate documentation. - Teach and guide student technologists for proper exam performance. - Manage all procedural charges and inventory required for examinations. **Physical and Mental Requirements:** - Ability to lift and assist patients, maneuver through various hospital environments. - Strong communication skills for clear interactions with staff, patients, and physicians. - Proficient in math and reasoning to interpret instructions and perform essential tasks accurately. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
