GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a Production Technician to perform routine assembly and packaging of company products, including labeling, organizing materials, operating small equipment, and maintaining required compliance records.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Able to make a decision from general knowledge and training.
• Maintain/demonstrates proper use and care of assigned tools and equipment.
• Performs whatever documentation is required, per work scope specification.
• Familiar with inspection tools/gauges/micrometers as well as geometric tolerance
Performs other tasks, as required.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
• Ability to read, write and speak proficient English.
• Ability to operate torque wrenches is preferred.
• Ability to operate safety wire pliers is preferred.
• Demonstrate a cooperative relationship to interface between mechanics and test cell operators.
• Possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the assigned duties, including computer skills.
• Maintain sensitive and confidential information as required by company and government requirements.
• Communicate and interact effectively with peers, supervisors, and the public, including maintaining respect for others, and following company policies.
• Have a willingness and ability to learn and utilize company technology for company required purposes, including, for example training, reviewing, and signing policies and procedures, benefits enrollment, and changes, and more.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow instructions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to maintain knowledge, skills, and abilities as it pertains to your job.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Manufacturing/Shop Floor/Shared Workbench environment.
• Work Schedule: 4/10 shift.
• Ability to work in hot temperature environment.
• Ability to tolerate constant noise, such as, machine motors and large fans.
• Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time, and occasional walking, reaching, stooping, kneeling, etc.
• Ability to perform repetitive motion (keyboarding, mouse, phones).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
