Food Cutter

Our client, a leading retail organization specializing in fresh produce, is seeking a Food Cutter to join their team. As a Food Cutter, you will be an essential part of the produce department supporting store operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to food safety, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Food Cutter

Location: Princeton, TX

Pay Rate: $17.00/hr

Shift: 7am – 5pm (1 hour lunch), or 11am – 3pm

What's the Job?

• Wash, peel, cut, slice, and package fresh fruit according to company recipes and portion standards.
• Ensure all products meet freshness, quality, and appearance standards.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper handwashing, glove use, and temperature control.
• Properly label, date, and rotate products to maintain quality and freshness.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area, including equipment and prep surfaces.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma/GED preferred.
• Food Handler Certification required.
• Previous food prep, produce, or grocery experience preferred (not required).
• Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to safely use knives and food preparation tools.
