Warehouse Associate - Now Hiring

Our client, a leading organization in the transportation and logistics industry, is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join their team. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be an essential part of the operations team supporting shipping, receiving, and inventory management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Location: Birmingham, AL

Pay Range: $17.00 per hour

Shift: Monday through Friday, every other Saturday, 7am-3pm, with potential for later hours based on business needs

What's the Job?

• Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including unloading trucks and checking in merchandise
• Match purchase orders to sales orders and distribute orders to sales associates for processing
• Read customer orders, work orders, and shipping requisitions to determine items to be moved or shipped
• Ensure the warehouse is accessible and safe for employees and visitors
• Complete inventory counts and assemble products as needed

What's Needed?

• Ability to lift, push, or pull at least 75 pounds
• Basic written and verbal communication skills
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with handheld scanners
• Availability to work various shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends
• Experience in dock or warehouse operations within the transportation industry is a plus
