Production Mig Welder - Now Hiring

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in metal fabrication, is seeking a dedicated Production Mig Welder to join their team. As a Production Mig Welder, you will be an integral part of the manufacturing department supporting the production line. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Production Mig Welder

Location: Midfield, Alabama

Pay Range: $20.00 – $26.00 per hour (pay based on weld test)

Shift: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

What's the Job?

• Perform MIG welding on carbon steel, mild steel, aluminum, or other specified materials
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and weld symbols accurately
• Set up and operate welding equipment according to detailed specifications
• Inspect finished welds for quality, accuracy, and compliance with standards
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety procedures and company policies

What's Needed?

• Prior experience as a MIG welder in a production or manufacturing environment
• Ability to pass a weld test demonstrating proficiency 
• Knowledge of welding techniques, safety practices, and weld quality standards
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools such as tape measures and calipers
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as required
