Job Summary

Presidential Security and Protective Services, LLC is seeking highly professional, dedicated, and experienced Armed Security Officers to provide premium asset protection and physical security for a high-profile financial institution client. The ideal candidate will possess a commanding presence, exceptional situational awareness, and an uncompromised commitment to safety.

In this role, you will be responsible for safeguarding the institution's personnel, customers, and physical assets against theft, violence, and unauthorized entry, while delivering a customer-centric service experience that aligns with our core mission of Ethics, Integrity, Honor, and Loyalty.

Primary Responsibilities

• Stationary & Foot Patrols: Maintain a highly visible, armed presence at the entrance, lobby, and designated perimeters of the financial institution.
• Access Control: Monitor and manage the entry and exit of staff, customers, and vendors in compliance with company and financial institution policies.
• Threat Mitigation & Incident Response: Rapidly identify, de-escalate, and respond to suspicious activity, disorderly conduct, or potential security breaches.
• Emergency Response: Serve as a primary responder in the event of an emergency (e.g., medical incident, robbery, active threat, or severe weather) and coordinate efficiently with local law enforcement and emergency services.
• Surveillance & Reporting: Continually monitor security cameras, alarm systems, and entryways. Prepare clear, objective, and detailed daily shift reports and incident logs.
• Customer Service: Greet bank patrons politely, assist with directions, and maintain a professional demeanor that reflects positively on both the branch and Presidential Security.

Mandatory Qualifications & Requirements

• Must be able to stand for 4-6 hours.
• Experience: A minimum of two (2) years of experience as an Armed Security Officer specifically within a financial institution setting (bank, credit union, or federal reserve facility) is strictly required.
• Licensure: Must possess a valid Alabama Security Regulatory Board (ASRB) Armed Security License.
• Firearm Certification: Must possess a valid armed carry permit/certification, own a duty-approved firearm and holster, and satisfy ongoing qualification requirements.
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Background & Screenings: Must pass a comprehensive criminal background check, credit check (standard for financial assignments), and a pre-employment drug screening.
• Transportation: Must possess a valid Driver’s License and a reliable personal vehicle.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Facilitate daily activity report.
• Profound understanding of specialized security protocols unique to banking environments (e.g., dual-custody procedures, anti-ambush tactics, vault access).
• Advanced verbal communication skills for effective conflict resolution and verbal de-escalation.
• High level of physical fitness, with the capability to stand or walk for extended periods (up to 8–10 hours per shift).
• Ability to think critically and make sound, immediate decisions under high-stress circumstances.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior military service, law enforcement experience, or a degree in Criminal Justice.
• Active certification in First Aid, CPR, and AED.
