Mammography Technologist

Delaney Radiology is proud to be an ACR-Designated Comprehensive Breast Imaging Center, and we are currently seeking a Full-Time Mammography Technologist to join our dynamic team!

As a Mammography Technologist, you will be responsible for performing mammography exams, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and providing high-quality care to our patients.

Essential Functions

• Perform Screening Mammography, Diagnostic Mammography, and Stereotactic biopsies per Radiologist protocol.
• Review prior exams, verify physician's orders, and compile complete patient history before presenting to a radiologist.
• Interview and prepare patients by obtaining history, explaining procedures, and addressing questions or concerns
• Operate equipment at peak performance to obtain high-quality images while minimizing patient and operator radiation exposure.
• Practice radiation safety, wear protective shielding, and follow all safety guidelines to protect patients, staff, and visitors.
• Safeguard patient health information and uphold the profession's code of ethics at all times.

Position Requirements:

• Be a graduate of an accredited radiography program
• Registered through the ARRT in Mammography
• Registries in other imaging modalities, in addition to mammography, are a PLUS.
• Preference will be given to candidates with digital experience
• Possess and maintain BLS certification
