CDL Driver/Yard Laborer

Position Summary 

We are hiring on behalf of our client for a CDL Class A Driver / Yard Laborer in Albertville, MN. This is a local delivery driver position with home daily routes, steady hours, and a mix of truck driving + warehouse/yard work.

Key Responsibilities 

• Operate a Class A CDL truck for local deliveries 
• Deliver roof trusses, floor trusses, and building materials to residential construction sites 
• Perform load securement (strapping, chaining) and ensure safe transport 
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections (DOT compliant) 
• Assist with loading/unloading lumber and materials 
• Support yard operations, warehouse work, and general labor tasks 
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and material handling equipment (as needed) 
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures including PPE requirements to perform the job safely 

Qualifications & Skills 

• Valid Class A CDL license 
• Clean driving record and safe driving history 
• Experience with flatbed, construction, or lumber delivery (preferred) 
• Ability to perform physical work (lifting, loading, outdoor work) 
• Forklift experience is a plus (not required) 
• Experience in warehouse, yard, construction, or manufacturing environments is helpful 
• Strong attendance, reliability, and safety mindset 

Employment Type & Compensation 

• This is a Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire position 
• Pay rate is $28.00 - $30.00 per hour, based on experience 
• Application Window: Open until filled  

Work Schedule 

• Monday – Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM 
• No nights 
• No weekends 
• No overnight routes 
• Stable, year-round work in construction, lumber, and building materials
