Gregori Construction Inc. has a need for a Heavy Haul Commercial Truck Driver to support our construction projects. This position is located at our main office in Sarver, PA. We operate across several East Coast and Mid-West States and have a branch office in Florida.
Responsibilities:
- Transport material and/or equipment to and from specified work locations
- Take ownership over your work, equipment, conditions, and surroundings to keep safety first in all things both for yourself and for all crew members
- Accurately complete all necessary electronic logging (ELD), vehicle inspection reports, and timecards while keeping equipment clean and well maintained
- Continually observe all leader instructions, traffic rules and regulations, customer specifications, and the operating standards of the Company
- Think innovatively, actively participate in safety tailgate meetings, contribute purposefully to the Company’s safety culture, and communicate clearly, openly, and constructively
- Load equipment onto trailers and secure loads
Qualifications:
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
- Current and valid Class A driver’s license
- Ability to pass a driving and vehicle inspection test
- A firm commitment to arriving for work on time and fit for duty, completing work assignments with a high standard of quality, and supporting all other crew members in working safely and efficiently
- Frequent travel
- Pay scale based on experience
Physical Demands
Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials. Considerable time spent standing; Job requires wearing common protective or safety equipment such as safety shoes, glasses, gloves, and hard hats; Considerable time spent using hands to handle control or feel objects, tools or controls. Regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Frequently required to talk or hear. Occasionally required to sit. Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Vision abilities required include close and distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
