Physician's Assistant Neurology

We are seeking a motivated Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our neurology team in an outpatient multi-specialty practice. The APP will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with a range of neurological conditions. This position offers the opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative and supportive clinical environment. 

Responsibilities 

• Conduct neurological evaluations, including patient histories and physical exams. 
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic neurological conditions such as migraines, neuropathy, seizure disorders, and movement disorders. 
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests including labs and imaging studies. 
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians. 
• Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with state regulations. 
• Educate patients and families on neurological conditions and treatment plans. 
• Document patient encounters accurately in athenaOne (EMR). 
• Coordinate care with other providers and specialties within the practice. 

Qualifications 

• Master’s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program. 
• Current NP or PA license in the state of practice. 
• Board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant – Certified (PA-C)  
• DEA license (or eligibility). 
• Prior neurology or outpatient clinical experience preferred.
