Job Description
We are seeking an accomplished Chef de Cuisine to lead the culinary team for a highly acclaimed luxury Italian dining concept in New York City.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a polished culinary leader with deep expertise in refined regional Italian cuisine, strong operational discipline, and experience delivering elevated guest experiences in luxury hospitality environments.

What You’ll Do
- Lead all day-to-day back-of-house culinary operations
- Oversee menu execution and seasonal menu development
- Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency
- Drive food cost, labor cost, and overall budget performance
- Lead, coach, mentor, and develop a high-performing culinary team
- Ensure all sanitation, safety, and compliance standards are met
- Partner closely with senior culinary and F&B leadership
- Execute private dining and specialty event culinary programming
- Manage inventory, ordering, scheduling, and operational systems
- Build and maintain a culture of excellence, professionalism, and accountability
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years in a senior kitchen leadership role (Chef de Cuisine, Executive Sous Chef, or similar)
- Strong background in authentic refined Italian cuisine (regional Italian strongly preferred)
- Experience in luxury restaurant, luxury hotel, private club, or Michelin-level environments
- Proven leadership of 30+ culinary team members
- Strong financial acumen (food cost, labor management, budgeting, forecasting)
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Experience with high-volume service while maintaining exacting standards
- Creative menu development experience with seasonal execution
- NYC Food Handler Certification preferred
- Culinary degree preferred
- Multilingual abilities are a plus

$125,000 – $135,000 Base Salary
