Service Engineer

Do you thrive on technology and hands-on work? As a Service Engineer, you’ll repair, test, and calibrate scales up to 10,000 lbs. This is a physically demanding position involving repetitive testing, working in various conditions. We are customer focused, which means priorities can shift quickly, keeping the work dynamic and exciting. Your time will be split between in-house and field assignments, so adaptability is key. If you have technical aptitude, enjoy solving problems, and communicate.

Requirements:

• Technical aptitude with a customer-focused mindset

• Valid driver’s license and maintain an acceptable driving record.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and be active more than 50% of the time (walking, bending, stooping and kneeling)

• Authorized to work in the United States without restrictions

• Reliable transportation

• Reside within a reasonable distance of Wood Dale, IL

• Strong willingness to learn and adapt

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Availability to work 40+ hours per week

Key Responsibilities: Assist with diagnosing and resolving basic technical issues on-site or through remote support

• Help perform routine maintenance and equipment installations

• Learn to provide customer support and training on proper equipment use • Maintain accurate records of service activities, issues, and resolutions

• Collaborate with experienced team members to solve problems and gain hands-on knowledge

• Ensure all tasks comply with safety and regulatory standards

This position is first shift 6:00 am to 2:30 pm Monday through Friday. Includes full benefit package including 401K.

Salary is based on experience $20 -$23.00/hr
