The truck driver will operate heavy-duty trucks on regional and long-haul routes, ensuring timely and safe delivery of cargo. The role involves assisting with loading and unloading freight, performing vehicle inspections, and complying with all safety regulations. The driver will work independently while being supervised by a fleet manager and must be prepared for frequent overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy-duty trucks on regional and long-haul routes
• Assist with loading and unloading cargo, including stepping dreck trailer
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety
• Comply with all safety regulations and company policies
• Manage time effectively to meet delivery schedules
• Adapt to frequent overnight and extended travel requirements
• Coordinate with fleet manager for route and schedule updates

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of truck driving experience
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with route planning and time management
• Strong communication skills
