Truss Designer / CAD Technician

As a Truss Designer, you'll take complex architectural blueprints and transform them into precise, engineered designs. A Truss Designer plays a critical role in the construction process from concept to build. What You'll Do
· Design structural truss components from customer blueprints with precision and professionalism
· Prepare accurate bids, material lists, and pricing for clients
· Produce engineered truss drawings and placement plans based on customer specifications
· Serve as a go-to technical resource for contractors, sales associates, and customers alike
· Collaborate across teams to support project success from start to finish
What You Bring
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints and translate them into a 3D CAD environment
· Solid math skills such as fractions, geometry, architectural units, and basic trigonometry
· Working knowledge of CAD software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
· Strong analytical and problem-solving instincts
· Clear, professional communication by phone, email, and in person
· General understanding of the construction industry
· A high school diploma or equivalent; coursework in drafting or design is a plus

Compensation
