Tool & Die Maker

Our Client in Fairfield NJ is seeking a skilled Tool & Die Maker to join their team! 

Schedule: Monday - Friday (Full time flexible hrs) 
Pay: DOE 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Construct, alter, and repair a variety of tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, and gauges to very close tolerance.
• Develops strategies for fabricating die components using the most efficient machining methodology.
• Demonstrated ability for using shop mathematics, handbook of geometric and trigonometric formulas.
• Ability to work from drawings and sketches.
• Ability to use all types of precision measuring instruments.
• Thorough knowledge of machine shop practices, principles of mechanics, machine shop operations, and the working generalities of material
• Previous experience working with Progressive or Compound Dies

REQUIREMENTS:

• HS diploma required.
