Speech Language Pathologist School

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the upcoming 2026–2027 school year in Dearborn, MI. This is a full-time, school-based position.

The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for helping individuals with speech and language disorders, particularly within pediatric populations. You will play a key role in supporting students’ communication needs and contributing to their academic and social success.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments to diagnose and develop treatment plans for patients with communication disorders
• Provide speech and language therapy to individuals with various speech disorders
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, educators, and families to implement comprehensive treatment plans
• Maintain detailed records of patient progress and treatment outcomes
• Stay current on advancements in the field of speech-language pathology

Experience

• Experience working in a school or pediatric setting is preferred
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to speech and language pathology
• Proficiency in patient assessment and early intervention techniques
• Ability to provide patient-centered care with empathy and professionalism
• Familiarity with a variety of speech therapy techniques tailored to individual patient needs.

License/Certification:

• MI SLP license (Required)
• ASHA CCCs (Preferred)
