Advanced Transmission Center – Lafayette, LA
Advanced Transmission Center is seeking an experienced automotive mechanic to join our team. We are looking for a dependable individual with automotive repair experience who can efficiently remove and install transmissions in a variety of vehicles.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of automotive repair experience
- Ability to be taught to remove and install transmissions and related drive line components
- Own your own tools
- Valid driver's license
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Ability to work in a fast-paced shop environment
Responsibilities:
- Remove and reinstall automatic transmissions
- Assist with drivetrain-related repairs
- Follow shop procedures and safety standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Compensation & Benefits:
- $18.00 – $25.00 per hour, no flat rate. Pay is dependent on experience.
- Full-time position
- Steady workflow
- Monday thru Friday - no weekends

Our team includes an experienced transmission builder, experienced service advisors, and technicians working together to provide high-quality repairs and exceptional customer service. We believe in doing the job right, treating customers fairly, and supporting our employees with a professional work environment. Unlike many automotive shops, we offer a Monday-Friday schedule with no weekend work. We focus on quality over quantity and are looking for technicians who take pride in their work and enjoy solving challenging automotive problems.
