Description

American Traveler is hiring a first-time-traveler-friendly RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring LDRP/postpartum experience and Epic proficiency, with night shifts and on-call responsibilities.

Details

  • Labor and Delivery unit within a 109-bed short-term acute care hospital
  • LDRP setting serving labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum patients
  • Staffing follows AWHONN standards
  • Night shift schedule: 4x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
  • Every other weekend required
  • On-call required: up to one on-call shift per two weeks based on low census
  • Floating between all facilities within the state is expected
  • Block schedules are not required
  • Charting via Epic (experience required)
  • Scrubs are provided for this unit

Requirements

  • Active Oregon (OR) RN license required
  • Minimum 2 years of L&D nursing experience required
  • LDRP and postpartum experience required
  • Epic EMR proficiency required
  • At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty and setting
  • SSN and DOB required for consideration
  • Active professional license at time of consideration
  • All required certifications must be current and on file

Additional Information

  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
  • Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
  • Refusal to float between facilities within the state may result in assignment termination
  • Minimal RTO is strongly preferred; excessive RTO requests may impact placement
  • All RTO or scheduling requests must be communicated prior to submission, as post-offer requests may be denied
  • No parking fee at this facility
