Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Massachusetts Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
• Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC required.
• Experience delivering home health physical therapy services.
• Ability to evaluate patients, set measurable functional goals, develop and modify treatment plans, and provide thorough documentation.
• Experience with therapeutic modalities, diagnostic muscle/nerve/joint testing, and patient/family education.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the island community as part of home health visits.
• Preferred: Specialist certification or demonstrated clinical specialty experience for clinical resource roles.

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Home Health.
• Duration: 13 Week assignment.
• Standard Hours Per Week: 40 hours per week.
• Housing: One-bedroom suite apartment provided.
• Travel: Vehicle provided for clinician use during assignment.
• Location Requirement: Position is on Nantucket Island; clinician must be able to work at island-based patient residences.
