Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Massachusetts Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
- Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC required.
- Experience delivering home health physical therapy services.
- Ability to evaluate patients, set measurable functional goals, develop and modify treatment plans, and provide thorough documentation.
- Experience with therapeutic modalities, diagnostic muscle/nerve/joint testing, and patient/family education.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the island community as part of home health visits.
- Preferred: Specialist certification or demonstrated clinical specialty experience for clinical resource roles.
Assignment Details
- Facility Type: Home Health.
- Duration: 13 Week assignment.
- Standard Hours Per Week: 40 hours per week.
- Housing: One-bedroom suite apartment provided.
- Travel: Vehicle provided for clinician use during assignment.
- Location Requirement: Position is on Nantucket Island; clinician must be able to work at island-based patient residences.
