About this job
- Onboards new part-time employees by guiding them through the process of completing the required forms and information to input into the HRIS and Time and Leave systems.
- Responsible for part-time event staff payroll approval and accounting of hours charged to 100+ events per year. This is accomplished by daily monitoring of the University's Time & Leave system to track various event hours and daily hours for Athletics Operations ensuring accuracy of electronic timecard punches and correct coding of hours.
- Creates requested purchase order forms for the Athletic Operations unit ensuring accurate information, correct account coding and setting the document up for the correct electronic approval process.
- Assists with the department's key control management. Ensuring the Athletics Operations office is aware of employee start and end dates to make sure department keys are issued and returned in a timely manner.
- Completes all other administrative duties as requested by Associate Athletic Director of Event Operations, Sr. Associate Athletic Director of Facilities and/or Director of Human Resources in order to meet the needs of the department.

This position is On-site.

What You'll Need to SucceedMinimum Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree
- Four or more years of office management experience; education can be substituted for experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree Preferred
- Familiar with federal/state hiring, time keeping and payroll regulations;
- Knowledgeable in KSU Human Resource policies and procedures, KSU PeopleSoft and HRIS Systems.

Ability to independently and successfully prioritize and multi-task job duties as required; possess ability to maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and public; knowledge of accounting and management principles; knowledge of various forms of computer software, including but not limited to MS Word, Excel, Access, and Power Point software; understand and be able to prepare and process personnel paperwork; must be able to detect errors and reconcile financial records; and must be able to maintain confidentiality. Occasional night and weekend work required.
