Job Position: 2026-27 School Year Occupational Therapist

Location: Muncie, IN 47306

Pay Rate: W2, hourly; starting at $27/hour (based on experience)

Description:

Looking for a role where your expertise helps students build independence and succeed in school? Were seeking a Part-Time, In-person Occupational Therapist (OT) for the upcoming school year. This role is based in Indianaprimarily serving elementary students, with a smaller population of middle and high school learnersand offers a consistent schedule of half days on Tuesdays and Thursdays, supporting a manageable caseload of approximately 2530 students.

Youll work in a collaborative, studentcentered environment with access to a dedicated sensory room, supporting students motor, sensory, and functional needs to help them fully access their learning environment.

What youll need:

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy

• Active Indiana OT license (or eligibility to obtain)

• Experience in a school setting (preferred)

• Ability to complete evaluations as needed

• Strong understanding of IEP processes and goal development

• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills

Key responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services in alignment with IEP goals

• Conduct student evaluations and reevaluations as needed

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

• Utilize sensory room resources to support student needs

• Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers

• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reporting
