Job Description
Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract role offers the chance to work across multiple campuses in the same general area—minimizing travel while maximizing the variety of your days. With placements spanning Hazelwood, Ferguson Florissant (primarily elementary-aged students), and Jennings, you'll gain rich experience with a range of age groups, helping learners reach their fullest potential.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Valid professional license as required for school-based SLP practice
- Clinical Fellowship (CF) or Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) eligible
- Recent school-based or pediatric SLP experience strongly preferred
- Ability to complete all time-sensitive credentialing, including fingerprints and drug screening
- Adaptability to serve diverse student populations
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students based on Individualized Education Plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary staff to support student achievement
- Conduct assessments and document progress with clarity and timeliness
- Attend eligibility, IEP, and staff meetings as required
- Organize your schedule across assigned campuses with minimal travel
This full-time position entails 37.5 hours per week, from August 24, 2026, to May 28, 2027 (with dates subject to campus schedules). “Prescreen” interviews may occur prior to placement; please indicate your preferred weekdays and time slots for a brief interview between 9-11am or 2-3pm EST (with flexibility available).
