Job Description
Join a physician-owned OB/GYN practice that has served Michigan's Upper Peninsula since 1975. This growth and succession opportunity offers a full-scope practice, access to advanced surgical technology, and a clear pathway to partnership alongside four established physician-partners.
- Physician-owned private practice recruiting a fifth OB/GYN partner
- Full-scope practice with approximately 50% obstetrics and 50% gynecology
- Affiliated exclusively with UP Health System Marquette, home to the region's only NICU
- Maternal-Fetal Medicine support available on-site through the University of Michigan
- Opportunity to develop subspecialty interests including menopause medicine, pelvic pain, or infertility evaluation
- Da Vinci robotic surgery, laparoscopic, and hysteroscopic procedures
- Physicians perform their own C-sections and ultrasounds
- In-office procedures including IUDs, colposcopies, LEEPs, biopsies, and hysteroscopies
- Fertility services including IUI, ultrasound monitoring, and medication management
- Office hours Monday-Thursday 8:00 AM-5:00 PM and Friday 7:00 AM-3:00 PM
- Two designated OR days per month, including one robotic surgery day
- 22-25 patients per clinic day once established
- 1:5 call rotation
- Post-call day off following each 24-hour call shift
- Partner compensation ranging from 350,000-420,000+
- Partnership typically offered after two years with a modest buy-in
- Full family health insurance, 6 weeks PTO, retirement contributions, CME support, and malpractice coverage
- Work alongside Family Medicine residents through the Michigan State University program
- Participate in OB/GYN rotations and medical student education
- Opportunity to contribute to the training of future physicians
