Enjoy the natural beauty near Wellington, NV, and neighboring areas like Fernley, Yerington, and Silver Springs while making an impact in local schools. As an SLP, you’ll have the opportunity to select your preferred caseload ages and contribute to a dynamic, supportive educational setting.

Qualifications & Experience Desired:

  • Active licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in Nevada
  • CCC-SLP or SLP-CF applicants equally encouraged to apply
  • Comfortable working with elementary, middle, and/or high school-aged students
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
  • Willingness to embrace a new community or relocate for the school year

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language services tailored to each student’s educational needs
  • Manage student caseload and maintain accurate progress records
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Participate in IEP meetings, assessments, and therapy planning
  • Employ a variety of service delivery models, including possible teletherapy options

Benefits & Perks:

  • Full academic year contracts begin August 2024
  • Weekly schedules averaging 35-38 hours
  • Choices between school settings and caseload ages
  • Support for Clinical Fellows (CFs) with experienced supervision
  • Relocation opportunities and a welcoming environment for SLP pairs

Imagine yourself making a difference in students’ lives while enjoying the balance and adventure of a new setting! If you’re ready to explore this opportunity and contribute your expertise for the coming school year, submit your application today.

Compensation for this position ranges from $28.66 to $58.66. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
