Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This role near Hughes Springs, TX, seeks a dedicated speech-language pathologist with a passion for pediatric and school-based services. You’ll collaborate with education professionals, participate in dynamic school environments, and positively impact students’ communication skills. As you help manage a caseload of approximately 50 students, you’ll also have the opportunity to offer mentorship by supervising an SLPA, further expanding your professional impact.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active SLP license in Texas (or eligibility for licensure)
  • CCC-SLP credential or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) in progress
  • Experience or strong interest in pediatric and/or school-based settings
  • Competence with evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment planning
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills
  • Previous supervision of SLPAs is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and treat students with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to support student progress
  • Supervise and provide guidance to an SLPA in accordance with state and district requirements
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress records for a caseload of 50 students
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
