Qualifications

  • ARRT certification with a specialization in Interventional Radiology (IR)
  • Active, unencumbered state license as required
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as an IR Tech in an acute care setting
  • Strong understanding of imaging protocols and safety measures
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and assist in minimally invasive imaging procedures under sterile techniques
  • Operate imaging technology and equipment effectively
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and nursing staff to optimize patient care
  • Monitor patient safety and comfort during procedures
  • Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records
