Job Description
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Multiple contract openings are available for the 2024-25 academic year, providing a dynamic experience for professionals seeking to grow, collaborate, and create positive change for students across age groups. Whether you’re relocating with a partner or fellow SLPs, these positions are ideal for working alongside friends and building a supportive cohort.
Openings span elementary, middle, and high school levels, with flexibility to tailor your caseload to your preferred age group. Both CCC-SLPs and Clinical Fellows (SLP-CF) are encouraged to apply, and strong mentorship will be provided for candidates in their clinical fellowship year. Assignments begin in August 2024 and run the full school year, with placements in vibrant communities in and around Smith, Fernley, Yerington, Silver Springs, and neighboring areas.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Active or eligible state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- CCC-SLP or CFY status welcome
- Experience or a strong interest in school-based therapy
- Collaborative mindset; enjoy working with children from diverse backgrounds
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and deliver individualized speech and language therapy
- Develop, implement, and track IEPs for assigned students
- Work closely with other educators and families to support student goals
- Participate in school-based meetings, professional development, and parent conferences as needed
- Maintain thorough records and progress documentation
