Cath Lab Technician in Green Cove Springs, FL

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1+ year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A rewarding opportunity is available for an experienced professional skilled in Imaging for Cath Lab procedures and Cath Lab Technology. This contract assignment offers the chance to make a vital impact in a dynamic hospital environment, providing quality care within a dedicated interdisciplinary team.

Schedule:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• 7:00am to 6:00pm

Qualifications:

• Proven expertise as a Cath Lab Tech, with recent hands-on experience
• Proficient knowledge of imaging equipment and protocols used in cardiac catheterization procedures
• Current certification (RCIS or equivalent preferred)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Excellent communication, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively with physicians and nursing staff
• Flexibility to adapt in a fast-paced clinical setting

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor imaging equipment during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
• Support physicians with sterile field preparation, instrumentation, and procedural documentation
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning throughout the procedure
• Maintain an organized and efficient work area, managing supplies and equipment
• Adhere to hospital protocols, infection control procedures, and regulatory guidelines
