Pharmacy Technician (Pharm Tech) Compounding

Our client is seeking a Compounding Pharmacy Technician responsible for handling both dispensing duties and clean room tasks. The role involves preparing sterile compounds, processing medication orders, providing customer service, and maintaining inventory.

• Split day workflow consisting of dispensing duties for half of the day and working in the clean rooms for the other half.
• Prepares sterile compounds, including IV admixtures, IVPBs, and TPNs, in compliance with USP 795, USP 797, and USP 800 standards.
• Processes medication orders, restocks inventory, and maintains emergency and transport medication trays.
• Provides customer service by responding to phone inquiries and assisting at the pharmacy service window.
• Returns medications to inventory and helps monitor stock levels, including controlled substances.
• Serves as a resource for pharmacy technicians and assists with training and onboarding new staff.

• High School or Equivalent (GED)
• Wisconsin Pharmacy Technician license is required.
• PTCB Certification (Preferred)
• Pharmacy Experience (Preferred)
• Compounding Experience (Preferred)
