Sales Administrative Assistant
LHH Recruiting is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Sales Administrative Assistant to support the growth and management of existing and prospective customer accounts with our client in Phoenix, AZ. This role plays a key part in ensuring a seamless sales process-from initial quotation through order completion-while delivering excellent customer service and supporting sales initiatives.

LHH Recruiting is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Sales Administrative Assistant to support the growth and management of existing and prospective customer accounts with our client in Phoenix, AZ. This role plays a key part in ensuring a seamless sales process-from initial quotation through order completion-while delivering excellent customer service and supporting sales initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Sales Managers to prepare quotations, establish customer accounts, and obtain pricing and contract approvals
- Manage customer accounts from initial quote through order fulfillment and completion
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customer contacts by providing accurate product, pricing, and delivery information
- Maintain working knowledge of the company's product portfolio and effectively match solutions to customer needs
- Track and report monthly sales and activity metrics to leadership
- Proactively communicate customer feedback, potential issues, and process bottlenecks to management
- Support basic records management processes and documentation accuracy
- Prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities to ensure efficient workflow
- Represent the company professionally in all customer and internal interactions
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or GED required
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role
- At least 2 years of consistent work experience, including 1+ year in a customer service-related role
- Experience with NetSuite ERP is a plus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to read, interpret, and respond to detailed instructions and documentation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- High attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions)
- Ability to work collaboratively and maintain positive working relationships
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, changing environment
